P., does not permit the conditional guilty plea, that is, a plea by which the defendant pleads guilty but expressly reserves the right to appeal the denial of his motion to suppress evidence on constitutional grounds; however, in the interests of judicial economy, rather than require defendant in this case to go through the ritual of withdrawing his conditional guilty plea, entering a not guilty plea, and then stipulating to the states case in order to obtain appellate review of the Fourth Amendment claim, we consider the issue at this time.
